There is a jacket that has seen more adventures than any one person ever could.

It started as jeans from different corners of the world — men’s, women’s, broken in by strangers who never met. A pair faded in the sun in Tokyo. A pair shredded at the knees in Brooklyn. A pair of jeans someone wore every single day for three years straight because they fit like a second skin and nothing else came close.

When those jeans gave out, someone collected the wreckage. Not to fix them. To fuse them. Every pocket, every raw edge, every thread still holding on was stitched into a single body — not gently, not neatly, but with the force of someone who knows that the best things are built from what survived.

Rebirth is not starting over. It’s starting from everything.

THE STORY

Maybe you’ve always been drawn to things that look like they’ve been through something.

Not distressed-on-purpose. Not manufactured edge. The real thing — denim that earned every scar, every bleach mark, every raw seam that won’t lay flat because it’s holding on to a story it’s not ready to tell.

This jacket is built from pieces of jeans that lived full lives before they became this. You can see it: pockets stitched over pockets, seams running in directions that don’t follow any pattern except instinct. The KIAT. label at the collar. A heavyweight brass zipper that means business. The whole thing is cropped and boxy — the silhouette of someone who walks into a room like they own every wall in it.

KIAT. built this by hand. Not by plan — by feel. The way a guitarist finds a riff is not by reading sheet music but by letting the fingers go where the sound wants to live.

The patchwork construction is meant to evolve with wear.

Fraying edges are intentional and part of the design — they will continue to develop character over time.

Brass zipper and snap may develop natural patina over time — this is the metal continuing its story.
